Hi there, I’m Charlotte.

I’m a location-independent virtual assistant supporting ocean storytellers, conservationists, ethical businesses and people whose work is making a difference.

I’ve been diving in some of the most extraordinary places on the planet, like the Galápagos, the Philippines, the Azores and Mexico, and the ocean is usually where my head is when I’m not working. Which means that if that’s your world, too, you probably won’t have to explain much to me.

From managing your website and marketing communications to research, outreach and the general behind-the-scenes, I handle the work that takes time away from yours.

Originally from Hamburg, Germany, I spent almost a decade in London, initially working in marketing and later in the music industry.

In 2018, I quit my job at a record label to travel the world. It ended up being a much longer trip than I’d originally planned.

While in South America, I learned to scuba dive, and it impacted me in a way nothing else quite had. Around that time, I knew I wasn’t ever going back to an office.

I’ve been working remotely across multiple time zones ever since, in English and German, with people creating real-world change.

How can I help you?

Every client is different. Here’s some of what I do:

Websites: Updating, redesigning and ongoing management of sites in Squarespace and WordPress

Newsletters: Designing, writing, managing and migrating newsletters in Mailchimp, MailerLite and Squarespace

Communications: Writing, editing and scheduling blog posts, podcast distribution via Libsyn, content scheduling and posting, email communication, community engagement

Research and outreach: Identifying contacts, researching opportunities, reaching out on your behalf and putting together pitch decks and presentations

Course creation: Building and managing online courses in Ablefy

Graphic design: Social media graphics, presentations and other visual content in Canva

General admin: Data entry, contract coordination, expense tracking, proofreading, file management, the unglamorous stuff
